Problem: Too Busy, Need space in life. Solution: Get rid of God and all that church stuff!

At least that seems to be the solution these days. It just seems that if there's one thing that can be cut out of our busy lives, our busy schedules, placed at the bottom of our priorities list, it's God and "church" stuff. I mean after all, God understands... He'll forgive me... He still loves me...
Well, I can't argue with the last 2 points but I'm afraid that He doesn't understand. I mean, He knows we are sinners, that we will fail, that we will do things that go against His will and His ways... But what He finds so hard to understand is how after giving us all He had to give we would be so unwilling to give even a small portion of what we have to Him. And perhaps the saddest part in all of this is that He promises us the rest, the relief of our heavy burden... He promises to give us the very thing that we are hoping to gain when we cut Him out of our lives... rest for your weary soul. Oh God, please forgive us for we really do not know what we do.

God is not the problem, He is the solution. And He's the one thing you can't afford to take off your plate!

Matthew 11: 28-30 - Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”

Live In Victory! Romans 8:31-39

Christian, the enemy (satan) will try to make you believe that you are defeated, finished, and that the victory is his. However, do not lay down your weapon! He is a liar as God's Word clearly tells us that the victory has already been won! It was won 2000 years ago when Christ defeated death, hell, and the grave. What each of us must decide is whether we will choose victory or believe the lie of defeat. Choose victory! The battle has already been won! You are more than a conqueror! Claim Romans 8:31-39!
