My kids... wow! To start, both my kids are doing excellent in school! My daughter Ashton is in 8th grade. She'll be going into high school next year - yikes! She is on the track team, she just made the cheer leading squad, and she is getting funnier with age... I could go on! Again, she is a blessing from God! I love her and respect her more than she knows! Need to do a better job of showing it sometimes, I know!
My son Adam... he is going to be a phenomenal leader someday. He has all the qualities! Unfortunately he is alot like his old man and is going to have to learn a few things the hard way. Oh well, don't we all! He is a great drummer and has the skills to be a great musician someday. I love my son! He's just a likable guy! I pray that God molds him and makes him into everything that He is capable of becoming. I pray his path is a bit smoother than mine was. Alot of that falls back to me.
Family. What a joy. What a pain. What a pleasure! I wouldn't change things for the world! I just pray it doesn't go too fast. These are the best days of my earthly life. I am going to do my best to cherish them, every one.
Ashton is NOT going to high school! She's just a baby!
ReplyDeleteHas it been that long? And a son, too.
Hang on, Christian. Being the father of an attractive teen age girl, and knowing how boys think, was not easy for me. April and I survided it, and so did most of the boys she dated (though one that went fishing with me decided to jump out of the boat and wrestle an alligator).
